Apple rejected my app. This isn't the first time, but it felt like forever. It took ~14 days for my new iPhone app to be approved.
I messed up and broke one of the App Store rules. How? I added device frames to show the iPhone Duo experience… BUT … you can’t show device frames in App Preview videos. From Mac to iPhone I’m so excited now that it’s live. It has been fun porting my Mac app to iPhone using AI agents. I enjoy playtesting and figuring out how it needs to feel.
iPhone Duo Apple had a big new device launch, and I got one on launch day from Best Buy. I ordered the iPhone Duo specifically so that I could make this app work on it.

Hey Reader, I added voice control to my pour-over coffee app. Using OpenAI’s latest voice model, I can have a natural back-and-forth conversation with the app and change recipe settings—even after I’ve started a recipe. I gave the voice model tools to change any recipe setting. The app used the Gleam voice and can explain how to pour with a gooseneck kettle. It was awesome, and our babysitter couldn’t stop laughing yesterday. I'd need to figure out pricing to cover the cost, but it could help...
